For some reason this year there’s no website for the Tour de Acoma. The ride is September 12th (Sunday, keep in mind Enchanted Circle is the day before on Saturday).

Prices:
$40 for 25 mile ride
$50 for 50 mile ride
$60 for 100 mile ride

Last year the support was fantastic. Clear signaling, volunteers to point out turns, police car lead out (at least for the 100 mile), post-ride bbq. You get to ride in some areas that are usually restricted, so very clean and pretty much no traffic (I don’t recall any from last year). Time chipped event!. So if you feel like competing (there was plenty on the 100 mile ride last year) you won’t be disappointed.

After many hours of negotiation, Rio Cycling Club is proud to announce  new sponsorship for our riders! Pretty-In-Pink ™ bikes will be sponsoring us from now on, providing state of the art frames, wheels and accessories.

Roy Sturm was the first one to try one of the new models:  “Excellent handling, it’s a great frame, stable,… I’ll be pimping it with some ribbons on the handlebar and maybe a couple of months from now or so I’ll take the training wheels off.  It’s so pretty it makes my heart flutter!”.
